FYI= It is perfectly LEGAL for you to import a factory suspensioned vehicle and have any type of suspension kit installed AFTER being imported.

Kit cars are IN-ADMISSIBLE regardless of being assembled or unassembled

A person needs to take a good look at their individual needs and abilities to determine if importing a vehicle from the USA is the smart move.
